Zoey's First Easter 2015

Our cute little bunny on Easter. I love her little bunny teeth too.

Honest Company Product Review

I am going to do a review of the Honest products I have used so far. A  lot of people ask me what I think of them and I thought this would be a great way to get started on this blog!

Diapers- The honest diapers are my favorite product. They are plant based, chemical free, fragrance & lotion free, and super cute! They have tons of patterns and like with all their products you can have a bundle shipped to your house every month. I love feeling like I am using a safe diaper for my little one. My favorite is that they contain no chlorine. Most diapers are bleached to get them white. They do run a little smaller than normal diapers I noticed so you may want to order a size up.

Wipes- Along with the diapers I love these. They are very thick, strong, and gentle. They are chemical and chlorine free too. They are great for sensitive skin and great for baby. I feel comfortable using these for her face, hands, and changings! Now when I use a normal wipe I can actually smell the difference of chemical and non chemical.

Body Wash- I use the shampoo/body wash for Zoey every night. It smells of lovely vanilla and gets nice and bubbly. I love the way it makes her smell and love that it is organic with no chemicals. Some all natural body washes do not lather but this makes a great lather!

Lotion- The lotion is okay. It has a more musky manly type scent like something outdoorsy or woodsy. I can't quite figure it out but I much prefer girly scents so this I just use for Zoey once in a while. I usually do not need to put any lotion on her anyways.

Healing Balm- I never had to use this until recently. My baby got some runny stools and her bum started to turn really red and raw. I started putting this on the area and in just that first use the redness went away. This stuff does not leave any odor, color, or mess (unlike desitin) and works so well!
I liked these products for baby so much I decided to try the household products. Most I like but a few I do not.

Laundry Soap- This plant based soap works perfectly. I have no residue or film left on the clothes. They come out with no smell, which means no perfumes but gets rid of stink. I use it on all our clothes.

Dishwasher Pods- These I did not like. They left film on all my dishes and I was disappointed. I tried them several times and wished they would have worked better.  Love the idea!

Multipurpose Spray and Glass Cleaner- These I like. Although they do not kill germs 99% like most cleaners they work just fine. The window spray smells of heavy vinegar and took a while to get used to, but I just feel more comfortable spraying this around the house with baby around than other cleaners. I don't have to worry about her breathing in harsh chemicals. The multipurpose cleaner actually smells pretty good compared to other all natural cleaners I have tried. I use these in the bathroom and kitchen.

I still have yet to try the toilet bowl cleaner, bug spray, and sunblock which I plan to and will update when I do!

I highly recommend this brand for many reasons. I am happy with almost everything I have tried from them and love that they are all natural, chemical free, and biodegradable. I feel like they are a safer option for my family and they are also reasonably priced. I have tried a few different brands of all natural products and they can get pretty pricey. Obviously they are going to be a little more than non organic product but this brand has great prices! I love that you can also order online in bundles, you save time and money doing this.  They also just started to carry Honest at Target! I am at Target all the time anyways!
Hope this helps answer any questions!
